One huge landmass with no loading screens. These are the first five zones. The names are working titles.

  • Heartland zoneHeartlandForests, the first village and the Monument on its hill. Woodcutting, mining, fishing and cooking start here.
  • Marsh zoneMarshTeal and misty, full of bog toads, wisps and a fisher on stilts. Hunting and farming begin.
  • Rain Peaks zoneRain PeaksGrey and steep. Goats on the slopes and a mossy rock golem at the ruined watchtower.
  • Golden Hills zoneGolden HillsWarm and open, with sheep, windmills, towns to build in and merchants to rob.

The build plan
  1. 1HeartlandFirst upThe whole Renown loop: resets, the Renown shop, skill trees, the bank and the Lockbox.
  2. 2MarshPlannedThe first cross-skill perks. Farming grows trees for woodcutting, and alchemy bait changes what bites.
  3. 3Rain PeaksPlannedSlaughter hordes open, and older skills start feeding each other.
